Yard Technician

About the role

Yard Technicians support the rental facility by maintaining the storage yard, assisting with equipment upkeep, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role is key to keeping our equipment and workspace safe, organized, and ready for customers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and report equipment condition before and after usage
• Document incoming and outgoing equipment
• Assist with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance, and equipment cleaning
• Demonstrate, load, and unload equipment
• Maintain equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures
• Perform general yard and shop cleanup in accordance with company standards
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free workplace
• Uphold EquipmentShare’s culture and high standards of customer experience
• Assist with various other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Overtime pay after 40 hours
• Subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Must be able to work outside during extreme temperatures
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and stoop
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screen (safety-sensitive position)
• Must be at least 18 years old to work in the EquipmentShare yard
