Job Summary The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial indoor and outdoor manufacturing environment. Administer all work yard operations and ensure compliance to safety policies. Maintain and implement yard organization plan for storage of product. Maintain optimal level of customer and company staff in all yard operations. Train staff to develop and achieve all work objectives and evaluate performance on a regular basis. Ensure proper handling of all materials and store it appropriately. Monitor loading of product to ensure safe transport to job sites. Monitor work of employees and initiate disciplinary as required. Job Responsibilities Assist the Plant Manager in performing all tasks necessary to ensure that all vehicles and drivers are safe and in compliance with all legal and regulatory agenciesMaintain the yard in an orderly fashionEnsure all product is stored in correct location and dunnage is properly placedSchedule workload and coordinate daily delivery schedules based on sale’s request for product and product availabilityVerify all loads are loaded and dunnage is properly placedVerify all erection materials are shipped to the jobsites as requiredWork closely with the production to the team to determine items ready for deliveryOperating heavy equipment as neededCoordinate with the warehouse personnel on receiving itemsConduct daily cycle counts of inventory and OPC itemsAssist in locating items in the yardOther responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Job Requirements Minimum high school diploma or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience in a related industry preferredAbility to operate a forklift Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to work under limited supervisionGood attendance and positive attitude a mustAbility to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the dayBilingual (Spanish and English) preferred Compensation The hourly pay is $25-$30, based on experience401 (k) plan / group retirement savings programShort-term and long-term disability benefitsLife insuranceHealth, dental and vision insurancePaid time offPaid holidays What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
