Pay
$25.00 per hour plus a quarterly safety bonus.

About the role
The Yard Driver moves tractor-trailers to and from loading docks, parks loaded or empty trailers in designated areas, and transports trailers to off-site maintenance or inspection facilities. All driving must comply with Company policies and DOT regulations. The role includes fueling equipment, performing safety checks, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections of tractor and trailer per DOT regulations and company standards; report any safety issues or needed repairs.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies; report hazards immediately.
- Safely move trailers between loading docks and designated parking areas.
- Handle and return paperwork related to off-site maintenance or inspections.
- Ensure tractors, trailers, and freight are properly secured at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of tractors, loading dock areas, and trailers.
- Secure all equipment and complete required paperwork at shift end.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ months of tractor-trailer experience (internal candidates may qualify with less experience and a strong performance record).
- Must be able to work assigned schedule and required overtime.
- Valid CDL A.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years.
- Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
- Valid current DOT health card or ability to obtain one.
