Responsibilities

• Operate Tractor-Trailer and/or straight truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate a Yard Truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Spot trailers in the yard.
• Unload trailers.
• Perform yard checks.
• Maintain safe work practices.
• Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
• Other duties and special projects as requested.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year prior driving experience.
• Certified Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
• Must be highly motivated self-starter and able to work independently.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Need to be able to adapt to changing conditions.
• Have ability to listen to and follow directions.
• Must be able to follow established procedures.
• Must have a good attendance and tardy record.
• Must be able to communicate in English both written and orally.
• Must have a valid CDL license and good driving record.
• Must have the ability to work in all types of outside weather conditions.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to carry, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis.
• While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to cooler and freezer temperatures.
• The associate is required to frequently sit, stand, walk, and climb.
• While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm.
• The associate is exposed to outside weather conditions.
• The noise levels in the work environment are typically low to moderate.
