Yard Spotter

Job Duties

• Safely and efficiently move trailers between staging areas and greenhouses
• Maintain organization and ensure smooth traffic flow within the yard
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment used for moving trailers
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate trailer movements
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license
• 2+ years of verifiable driving experience
• Ability to work weekends as well as overtime as needed
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven initiative and responsibility demonstrated through prior work experience
• Team player with a positive attitude

Physical Environment & Requirements

• Plant/Production facility, often outside
• Possible extreme heat/cold dependent on season
• Continuously requires ability to follow verbal and/or written direction
• Frequently requires walking, lifting (up to 50lbs), carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling (up to 200lbs), bending, and crouching
• Often requires sitting, standing, fine dexterity, climbing, and handling
• Requires ability to operate machinery, drive vehicles (truck), or use equipment such as hand tools, computers, or general business equipment
