Yard Operator - Rhome

About the role

As a Yard Operator, you will maintain an organized and efficient yard by managing the movement, location, and condition of ISO tanks and trailers. This hands-on role contributes to a growing operation and offers a rewarding career opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate yard truck to move ISO tanks and Van Trailers as required to support operations.
• Receive, inspect, and check-in or out ISO tanks using required standards and record in the Company's internal proprietary system (Cyltrak).
• Load and unload chassis with ISO tanks as required.
• Regularly inspect ISO tanks and chassis, maintain records of recertification dates, and communicate upcoming recertification dates to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain records of the locations of ISO tanks in the yard and on the ground.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard truck(s) and the Rhome yard(s) as required by internal standards.
• Assist Process Operator 1 with production needs as directed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to obtain HazMat Certification and EPA 608 Certification.
• Experience in operating a yard truck, box truck, or other heavy equipment.
• Previous experience with Pumps, Hose, Compressors, PSM, and Lockout Tag Out.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, including Excel and Word.
• Great communication skills to support plant operations.

Schedule

Monday – Friday; 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
