Yard Operations Associate

Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
About the Role
We are hiring immediately for a Yard Operations Associate! We will teach you about distribution and supply chain techniques valued by Fortune 250 companies from around the globe. We are Wesco! We enable the connected world - you help turn on the power.
Responsibilities
- Provide efficient operations of one or multiple yards which may include operating equipment, loading, and unloading product and executing standard receiving and shipping processes.
- Perform spotting duties for equipment operators.
- Perform rigging and cribbing of all materials.
- Inspect all equipment used daily.
- Receive, count, and record shipment data into the system.
- Prepare packages and merchandise for storage and delivery.
- Operate heavy equipment.
Qualifications
- A high school degree or equivalent preferred.
- One year of warehouse operations experience preferred.
- Forklift experience.
- Equipment operations, warehouse, and customer service experience preferred.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- Ability to walk long distances throughout the day.

Pay
$19.13 - $22.96 Per Hour
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
