About the role

The Yard Jockey role at Imperial Dade is available in City of Industry. This position is part of a strong and continuously evolving Transportation team, contributing to the company's growth.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial motor vehicles on premises, from 26' bobtails
• Transport empty trucks and loaded trucks
• Inspect vehicles before and after moving
• Report damage
• Auxiliary in loading and unloading trucks
• Auxiliary in the warehouse
• Pick up and drop off trucks from vendors
• Collaborate with coworkers

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Clear MVRA valid commercial driver’s license
• 1+ years of recent Class C delivery driver experience
• Route delivery experience (a plus)
• Manual pallet jack and hand truck experience (a plus)
• Lift gate experience (a plus)
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Ability to work in any weather condition, as most work is completed outdoors
