About the role
Julius Silvert is seeking an experienced professional full-time Night Yard Jockey. This role will be responsible for moving vans, trucks, and tractor-trailers to and from the yard and loading docks.
Responsibilities
- Safely move box trucks in the yard for loading, fueling, and cleaning
- Complete required paperwork
- Conduct a DVIR mechanical inspection daily
- Perform physical body damage inspection daily
- Communicate with onsite mechanic nightly and report information
- Clean all trucks daily, including power washing of truck boxes
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have professional driving experience
- CDL A License is required
- Flexible with hours
- Clean driving record
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check
