Pay
- Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
- Overtime Pay: $33.00 per hour
- Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to second or third shift
Schedule
- Sunday - Wednesday
- Dispatch: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm

- Products Being Handled: Retail Goods
- Equipment: Stand-up and Sit-Down Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Pallet Jacks, and other warehouse tools
Responsibilities
- Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
- Safely handle and maneuver tractor trailers on the yard (cannot drive on public roads)
- Comply with safety and DOT regulations, continuous training, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records and logs, including yard inventory and moves
- Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Verifiable driving experience in "like" equipment:
- 9 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
- 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Yard Driver Examination
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements, if applicable to site
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to:
- Follow written and/or oral instructions
- Read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Work independently and as a member of a team
- Lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Stand for long periods of time
- Work on a flexible schedule across various shifts
- Use health and safety methods
- Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
- Read and/or listen to and understand information and ideas communicated
