Pay

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $33.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to second or third shift

Schedule

• Sunday - Wednesday
• Dispatch: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm

• Work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment
• Tractor Type: Yard Tractor
• Trailer Type: Dry Van 48', 53’
• Products Being Handled: Retail Goods
• Equipment: Stand-up and Sit-Down Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Pallet Jacks, and other warehouse tools

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Safely handle and maneuver tractor trailers on the yard (cannot drive on public roads)
• Comply with safety and DOT regulations, continuous training, and customer service
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs, including yard inventory and moves
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Verifiable driving experience in "like" equipment:
  • 9 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Yard Driver Examination
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements, if applicable to site
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to:
  • Follow written and/or oral instructions

  • Work independently and as a member of a team
  • Lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
  • Stand for long periods of time
