About the role

Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. This role involves operating yard tractors and various warehouse equipment to handle retail goods.

• Trailer Type: Dry Van 48', 53’

• Equipment: Stand-up and Sit-Down Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Pallet Jacks, and more

Pay

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $33.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to second or third shift

Schedule

• Wednesday - Saturday
• Dispatch: 5:00 pm - 3:30 am

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Safely handle and maneuver tractor trailers on the yard (not on public roads)
• Comply with safety and DOT regulations, continuous training, and customer service standards
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records, logs, yard inventory, and moves
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Verifiable driving experience in "like" equipment:
  • 9 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
• Pass a DOT physical and Yard Driver Examination
• Valid driver's license
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements, if applicable to the site
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment and self-driven to excel
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Ability to:

Note: This position does not require the operation of CDL-regulated equipment. However, candidates with a valid Commercial Drivers License will be subject to FMCSA requirements, including a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.
