Duties/Responsibilities
- Moves boats using tractors.
- Assists in launching and racking boats.
- Transports trailered boats using pick-up trucks to other locations.
- Inspects heavy equipment for damages.
- Remains up to date on OSHA and company guidelines and ensures they are being followed at the marina.
- Keeps up to date on all heavy marina equipment certifications.
- Reports all equipment damages, accidents, and problems to the Marina Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience using heavy equipment.
- Valid Driver’s license, required.
- Clean driving record, required.
- Experience using SpeedyDock, preferred.
- Marina Forklift experience, a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Thrives in a team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
Pay
$18-$24 per hour, based on experience. Full-Time, Year-Round.
