Yard Driver Non CDL

About the role

As a Yard Driver, you will maintain yard organization and safely spot trailers at dock doors and throughout the yard. You will also update trailer moves or any yard activity via a hand-held device.

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse tasks as needed (10%)
• Safely spot trailers at dock doors and yard locations; drive yard trucks and spot at designated locations (80%)
• Conduct yard auditing; ensure yard accuracy by leveraging the Yard Management System (10%)

Requirements

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid, active Driver's License
• Ability to load and unload heavy items
• Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion (walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting heavy or awkward material/equipment)

Working Conditions

Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
