Yard Driver 2nd Shift (Mon-Thur)

About the Role

Primarily move trailers in and out of doors at the distribution center and place them in spots on the yard.

Responsibilities

• Perform required trailer switches under the direction of the department manager and team leaders, often on an urgent and critical basis.
• Conduct daily inspections of yard equipment and report all defects.
• Ensure units are maintained in a safe manner.
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed, including loading and unloading trailers and operating forklift-type equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt to job duty and department changes as required.
• Must be proficient in backing 48’ and 53’ trailers.
• Acceptable driving record (MVR).

Pay

$21.50 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Thursday.
