Yard Associate

Job Description Summary

The Yard Associate at Sunbelt Rentals is responsible for:

• Stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property.
• Maintaining a written maintenance schedule.
• Servicing equipment as necessary to ensure it meets all set specifications.
• Inspecting equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost or damaged equipment.

Education or Experience

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools is preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math skills, communication, and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite are essential.
• General mechanical aptitude and safety focus are required.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

Physical Demands

• The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working both indoors and outdoors.

Base Pay Range

The base pay range for this position is $17.75 - 23.72 per hour, with starting rates of pay varying based on factors such as position offered, location, education, training, and experience.

Length of Service Awards
