Yard and Duty Assistant - 1.75 hrs/day (Orchard)
About the role
Maintains safety and positive behaviors of students in cafeteria, playground, drop off and pick-up zones, and other school site environments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain school grounds and facilities
- Monitor and assist students during drop-off and pick-up times
- Assist with playground supervision
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children
- Valid driver’s license (may be required)
Qualifications
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods
