About the role

As a Retail Seasonal Sales Associate at Yankee Candle in Castle Rock, CO, you will deliver an exceptional guest experience and drive sales growth while supporting store operations and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming store environment focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience through product knowledge and emotional connections.
• Maximize sales potential by implementing company selling strategies and building lasting customer relationships to enhance loyalty.
• Drive guest loyalty through the Rewards Loyalty program and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain store appearance by adhering to company visual standards, including plan-o-grams, visual maintenance, signage, and cleanliness.
• Support the Store Manager in building a high-performing team aligned with Newell Brands’ values: Passion for Winning, Integrity, Leadership, Ownership, and Teamwork.
• Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and effective communication.
• Assist in inventory management, expense control, and adherence to safety and loss prevention measures.
• Follow company policies and Code of Ethics while striving to achieve or exceed KPI goals.

Requirements

• High school completion or equivalent (GED).
• Proven experience in a retail environment (1+ years preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours.

Pay

The Colorado base pay range for this position is $15.16 to $18.95 per hour, based on prior relevant experience.
