Responsibilities
- Functions as a staff radiologic technologist, performing all radiologic exams in the Orthopedic practices.
- Provides Medical Assistant clinical support as well as administrative & clinical support throughout the office as needed.
- Provides the highest quality of care to all patients on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience: Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be a registered technologist from an accredited school of Radiology.
- Orthopedic x-ray experience preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: Radiology technologist license in the State of Maryland, CPR Certification, and ARRT Certification.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Meditech (if applicable), Epic (if applicable), Performance Manager/NetLearningMerge PACS, read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner, work independently, communicate effectively, and function as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Must be able to take and develop x-rays.
- Willingness to work beyond normal hours of operation and in other positions when necessary.
