X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technicians to join our healthcare team. Role Overview The technician will perform diagnostic x-ray procedures, including body mechanics and patient movement, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology. They will operate imaging equipment, develop films, prepare exam rooms, and support medical assistant duties. Key Responsibilities Greet and communicate effectively with patients, providing guidance throughout the treatment processObtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergiesAssist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervisionPerform radiology procedures accurately, ensuring patient safety and proper radiation protectionEnsure equipment functionality and report malfunctions promptlyFollow documentation protocols and maintain accurate recordsMaintain current licensure and skills, contributing to ongoing professional development Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalentBLS CertificationAR State X-Ray License; ARRT certification preferredExperience as a Medical Assistant is advantageous Additional Information Full-time roles involve rotating shifts, including weekdays and every-other weekend, with PRN positions available on an as-needed basis.
