X-Ray Technician (Part-Time)

About the role

We are seeking an X-Ray Technician to work every-other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at one of our 13 locations across High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Jamestown, Greensboro, Mt. Airy, and North Wilkesboro. You will collaborate closely with providers and patients to deliver quality care and ensure patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
• Prepare equipment and examination spaces for patient exams
• Position patients for imaging exams and monitor them throughout the procedure
• Ensure patient safety during exams
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Multitask effectively and maintain strong working relationships with management, staff, and patients
• Retain information and demonstrate keen attention to detail

Requirements

• Certificate of completion from a radiography tech-accredited program (preferred)
• 1+ years of experience in Family Practice, Neurology, Pain Management, or Internal Medicine (preferred)
• X-ray students are encouraged to apply
• Excellent documentation skills; experience with Allscripts Pro Suite is a plus
