X-Ray Technician (Part-Time)

About the role
We are seeking an X-Ray Technician to work every-other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at one of our 13 locations across High Point, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Jamestown, Greensboro, Mt. Airy, and North Wilkesboro. You will collaborate closely with providers and patients to deliver quality care and ensure patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
- Prepare equipment and examination spaces for patient exams
- Position patients for imaging exams and monitor them throughout the procedure
- Ensure patient safety during exams
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Multitask effectively and maintain strong working relationships with management, staff, and patients
- Retain information and demonstrate keen attention to detail
Requirements
- Certificate of completion from a radiography tech-accredited program (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in Family Practice, Neurology, Pain Management, or Internal Medicine (preferred)
- X-ray students are encouraged to apply
- Excellent documentation skills; experience with Allscripts Pro Suite is a plus
