Job Summary and Qualifications
- Sought after a Limited Scope X-Ray Operator (LSO) who provides expertise and champions patient care.
- Performs timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
- Performs quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
- Performs drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
- Maintains records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
- Works closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
- Ensures occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
- Is cross-trained for front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
- May be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations.
- Works with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services.
- Aid in general patient care when needed.
- Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
- LSO - Limited Scope Operator license in Colorado.
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
- Ability to obtain a BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
