X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant

Job Summary

Seeking a Limited Practice Radiographer/Medical Assistant who provides expertise and champions patient care. Ideal candidate should have 1+ year of clinical experience, EHR system experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. A graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completed an approved program (BOTP) is required. A Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited Practice Radiographer (LPR / LMRT) license is required in the state of residency, along with current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful.
• Experience using an EHR system is beneficial.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
• A Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited Practice Radiographer (LPR / LMRT) license is required in the state of residency.
• Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred.
• A current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
