About the role
We are seeking an X-Ray Tech/Medical Assistant who can provide expertise and champion patient care. Our team values patient care as much as we do.
Responsibilities
- Take vital signs
- Collect lab specimens
- Perform EKG’s
- Administer IM injections
- Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders
- Collect patient history and document EHR appropriately
- Auxiliary tasks such as applying splints, dressings, and bandages
- Auditing patient charts as needed
- Maintain records and logs on activities including radiology, in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs
- Inform patients and visitors of clinic progress
Requirements
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful
- Experience using an EHR system is beneficial
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required
- Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited Scope Operator (LSO/ LMRT) license is required in state of residency
- Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred
- Current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start
- Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion

Pay
The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. New Hires may receive UP TO $3,000 Sign-On Bonus!
