Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Limited X-ray Machine Operator/Medical Assistant who provides expertise and champions patient care. We are an amazing team that supports each other and values the meaningfulness of patient care.

• Takes vital signs, collects lab specimens, performs EKGs, and administers IM injections.
• Performs all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and updates patient charts accordingly.
• Collates patient history and documents EHR appropriately.
• Aids in check-in/check-out processes including auditing charts.
• Maintains records and logs on activities including radiology, in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent to other labs.
• Keeps patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.

You should have:

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting (helpful).
• Experience using an EHR system (beneficial).
• A High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• A Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) (required).
• Radiological Technologist (RT) or Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO / LMRT) license in state of residency (required).
• A current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) (preferred).
• A current BLS Certification (required within 30 days of start).
• A Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion (required).
