Wyoming Literacy & Science of Reading Instructional Coach

About the role

Responsible for delivering literacy and science instruction to students in Wyoming schools. Facilitating professional development for teachers and collaborating with district leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement literacy and science curricula aligned with state standards.
• Provide direct classroom instruction to students.
• Collaborate with teachers to improve instructional practices.
• Conduct professional development workshops for teachers.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Experience teaching literacy and/or science at the K-12 level.
• Knowledge of current educational research and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

• $45,000 - $55,000 annually.
