WV Food and Farm Coalition - Deputy Director

About the Role

The West Virginia Food & Farm Coalition is seeking a Deputy Director to oversee program implementation across five key initiatives: SNAP, Stretch, Youth Entrepreneurship and Education, Value Added Products, and the Rural Grocer Network. This role supervises a team of staff members and reports directly to the Executive Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Significant experience managing federally funded grant programs
• Demonstrated experience using logic models to organize program activities, deliverables, metrics, and outcomes across multiple grants
• Experience developing Gantt charts and implementation plans for staff-facing work plans
• Experience supervising multiple staff, including coaching and performance management
• Experience managing budgets, purchase orders, and procurement processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience translating program data for an Executive Director, Board, or funders

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in nonprofit program management
• Significant experience managing federally funded grant programs
• Demonstrated experience using logic models to organize program activities, deliverables, metrics, and outcomes across multiple grants
• Experience developing Gantt charts and implementation plans for staff-facing work plans
• Experience supervising multiple staff, including coaching and performance management
• Experience managing budgets, purchase orders, and procurement processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience translating program data for an Executive Director, Board, or funders
