WTG Traveling Mechanic/Technician

Description

Under minimum supervision, the Traveling WTG Mechanic/Technician carries out daily complex assembly, service, repair, inspection and operations of infrastructure to wind turbine generators and the related equipment and facilities. Employee will be required to climb up to 300’ and perform work.

Requirements

• Performs daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with minimum supervision.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and/or retrofit of complex electrical, mechanical or hydraulic components.
• Follow specific verbal and written instructions to perform WTG (and associated equipment) assembly, repair, and maintenance.
• Works in a high volume, multi-priority environment.
• Communicates in a positive manner.
• Works cooperatively or independently and inspires a team effort with all.
• Has knowledge of various hand and power tools.
• Able to distinguish color.
• Works in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather.
