About the role

The Swim Instructor is responsible for providing swim instruction to students of all ages following the American Red Cross (ARC) curriculum and guidelines within a safe, enjoyable and positive atmosphere that promotes safety and participant satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim lessons to students of all ages
• Adhere to the American Red Cross (ARC) curriculum and guidelines
• Create a safe, enjoyable, and positive learning environment
• Promote safety and participant satisfaction

Requirements

• Must be certified in CPR and First Aid
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to swim proficiently
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and adults
• Excellent communication and teaching skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing situations
