WS - Welder

Principal Responsibilities

• Cuts and/or joins metal parts to fabricate or repair steel boxes and offices, using tools such as a plasma cutter, welder, torch, chop saw, grinder and other power tools
• Installs doors, locks, and other parts to meet needs of customers
• Maintains records of work completed in order to provide an accounting of activities in on the shop floor
• Maintains inventory of supplies routinely used in the operation of the welding shop by inspecting stock and ordering goods as needed
• Inspects parts and supplies received in order to verify accuracy of invoices
• Other duties as assigned

Education And Qualifications

• 1-2 Years Experience welding
• High School Diploma
• Forklift certification preferred

• Plasma Cutter
• Welder
• Torches
• Chop Saw
• Grinder
• Power tools

Base Wage Range: $25.00 - $37.50

Individual rates are based on a variety of factors such as degrees or certifications, skill-level and years of experience, and include considerations such as expected overtime and variable compensation pay such as bonus or commission.
