WS - Admissions Student Ambassador

About the role

Serve as a representative of the University to prospective students and families. Support admissions outreach efforts, campus events, and communications while developing professional and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit students for associate and bachelor's programs from high schools and colleges
• Communicate with prospective students and families in person, by phone, and by mail
• Represent the University at college fairs and admissions events
• Collaborate with departments like financial aid and advising
• Interact with a diverse university community
• Participate in occasional evening and weekend events
• Follow best practices of the Admissions Department and University
• Maintain confidentiality, punctuality, and appropriate professional appearance
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Admissions
• Manage and create content for social media, optimize admissions pages, and coordinate digital engagement

Pay

$10.50/hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; closed on weekends. Flexible hours for special events and student schedules.
