WRF Operator I - Maintenance Operator

Essential Functions

• Operates, services, maintains, and checks equipment, instruments, pumps, valves
• Takes readings of pressures, volumes, weights, levels, flows and other data, and records them on log sheets
• Makes routine laboratory tests
• Performs maintenance on Utilities Department equipment, pumps, pipes, vehicles, buildings, structures, and grounds

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Experience operating water treatment and wastewater systems
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical principles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
