Wrestling Assistant Coach (Volunteer)

About the role

The Wrestling Assistant Coach will support the Brandon Middle School wrestling program under the guidance of the Principal and Student Activities Coordinator. The position is a volunteer opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and implementation of wrestling training sessions
• Support the coach in organizing and running wrestling competitions
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students participating in the program
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress

Requirements

• Experience coaching wrestling at the middle school level or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for supporting student athletes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• First aid and CPR certification

Skills

• Knowledge of wrestling rules and regulations
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Good organizational skills
