About the Role

The Upper Moreland School District is seeking a Wrestling Assistant Coach for Upper Moreland Middle School. This seasonal position supports the development of student-athletes both on and off the mat, emphasizing sportsmanship, safety, and program growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coaching and mentoring student-athletes in wrestling techniques, strategies, and competition.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development among athletes.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and competitions.
• Support the head coach in program development, including planning and executing practices and meets.
• Uphold the mission and values of the Upper Moreland Township School District.

Requirements

• Knowledge of and passion for wrestling.
• Commitment to the holistic development of student-athletes.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule

Seasonal position aligned with the wrestling season.
