Position Overview The Wrapping position wraps wire per order requirements, completes paperwork, records and enters data, and communicates with supervisors & associates. This position maintains cleanliness of area. Primary Responsibilities Rolls reel to jack and place on jackWelds new reel wire to previous reel endingSets up machine per order requirementsFrequently checks machining process for accuracyUses and reads micrometers to measure wireMonitors processes & controls to assure quality, then properly completes labelsPlaces completed reel in designated location, and communicate with supervisors & associates Education Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum Experience Required Entry level License(s) and/or Certification(s) Required n/a Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructionsAbility to use & read micrometers to measure wire, and use tools including wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer, micrometers, and computerAbility to follow plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules and established processes, procedures & practices.
