Wrapper Operator

About the role

The Wrapper Operator supports the Quality Assurance Inspection department.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory and supplies at inspection tables to maximize efficiency.
• Weighs and wraps rolls in plastic, places rolls on the correct pallets, and transports pallets to the correct location within the warehouse.
• Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the Quality Assurance Inspection area.
• Performs data entry.
• Completes other duties assigned by management.

Work Environment

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. The candidate is frequently exposed to noise, dust, various chemicals, and moving mechanical parts, requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection, and non-skid shoes.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear. The employee may need to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The role may occasionally require lifting up to 50 lbs.

Schedule

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 10 PM to 8 AM. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Little to no travel is expected for this position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift Certification.
• One year of manufacturing experience.
