Wraparound Family Facilitator

About the role

Help Group is one of the largest nonprofits in the U.S. serving individuals and families affected by autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, abuse, mental health, and social‑emotional challenges. The organization provides academic programs, mental health support, therapy, life coaching, vocational training, specialized social and residential programs, and resources for LGBTQ+ youth and families, reaching over 6,000 clients annually. Located in Culver City and Van Nuys, this full‑time Wraparound Facilitator position supports the mission of empowering adolescents, adults and families facing mental health, social and emotional challenges.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, develop Child and Family Teams and facilitate partnerships, strategies and interventions to engage families with the Wraparound teams and community liaisons.
• Identify needs, facilitate Team Meetings, ensure the development of Child and Family Plans, and design and monitor strategies to ensure participation, compliance and cross‑system collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred with a minimum of one year of experience in a community‑based social service program working with emotionally disturbed children and adults.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work required with 3 years of experience working with high‑risk children/youth in child welfare, probation or mental health systems in Wraparound.

Skills

• Familiarity with principles of family‑centered, strengths‑based services and group facilitation.
• Knowledge of the local community.
• Fluency in Spanish highly preferred.
• Valid California Driver’s License.

Pay

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
