Wound Tech - Wound Center

Full-time, days position in Miamisburg.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care for patients and other duties as assigned under the direct supervision and guidance of professional nursing or physician personnel in assigned area.
• Provide patient care during hyperbaric oxygen therapy and participate in hyperbaric chamber dives.
• Deliver patient care reflecting the philosophies, missions, vision, and values of Kettering Medical Center and wound care centers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of KMC nursing assistant trainee program, or successful completion of state testing nursing assistant program (STNA certification), surgical technician, or completion of LPN, EMT, or EMTP training.
• Preferred training and experience in wound care management.
• Current CPR certification.
• Completion of annual Corporate Integrity training.
• Maintain competencies and skills of specialty area of practice (see unit education files).

Qualifications

• Wound care experience preferred.
