Wound Care Tech

Qualifications

• Educational Requirements: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Certifications: Patient Care Tech, Athletic Training, Certified Nursing Assistant, Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician, or Medical Assistant (Preferred)
• Work Experience: 1 year of patient care experience (Preferred), 2 years direct care with patients including wound dressing and assisting with minor surgical procedures (Preferred)
• Skills: Ability to perform diagnostic testing and checklist completion (Preferred), Experience with Doppler use (Preferred), Experience in billing and use of databases (Preferred)
• Licenses and Certifications: BCLS - Basic Life Support (BLS certification through AHA upon hire, Required)
