Wound Ostomy RN

About the Role

Provides expert nursing care for patients with ileostomies, colostomies, urinary diversions, and complex wounds. Acts as a consultant for skin integrity issues, including pressure ulcers and wound management.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care related to ostomies and wounds.
• Serve as a clinical resource and advisor for wound and skin integrity concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse License in the state.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• WOCN certification or within two years of hire.
• Experience in managing simple and complex wounds and ostomies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or actively pursuing one.
• Board certification by Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses Society (WOCN).
