About the role
Beauvais Rehab and Healthcare is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (LPN) with WCC or WOCN credentials to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri.
- Complete wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate resident condition.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee nursing staff wound treatments.
- Provide resident-specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention.
- Administer medication, document care, oversee residents’ care, and implement resident schedules.
Requirements
- Some wound care experience preferred.
- Certification (WCC, WOCN) preferred but not required.
- Minimum experience: one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
