About the role
As a Wound Nurse | LPN, you will be responsible for the community’s general application of the skin management program. You will deliver safe, efficient, and effective treatment to heal various types of wounds, including surgical openings, ulcers, bed sores, feeding tube sites, and abscesses.
- Assess wounds
- Create and implement treatment plans
- Monitor infections and signs of various infections
- Clean wounds
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state in which you are practicing
- Prior Wound Care experience required
- Minimum of one year of experience providing specialized treatments in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
