As a key player in our wound care program, you'll ensure the highest standards of patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to execute treatment plans, educate patients and families, and lead hospital-wide wound care education initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with wound evaluation and the development of an appropriate plan of care for wounds.
• Document patient care problems and progress.
• Order appropriate specialty equipment for patients with supervisor approval.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician (RN, LPN/LVN, PT, OT) active in the state.
• Certification in Wound Care and Management preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Continuous updating of wound care knowledge through seminars and professional organizations is required.
• Minimum two years of experience in wound care.

Schedule

• Available to work Monday - Friday 11am-8pm.
• Rotation: working 4 hours every third weekend (can be Saturday or Sunday) to review the Friday night admissions.
• Will work ½ day of their choosing during the week leading up to the weekend shift.
