About the role
The primary function of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in the Advanced Wound Care Center. Ability to assist patients in home needs to continue wound care plan of care. Assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities. Is cross-trained to cover in HBO. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of the hospital. Promotes a supportive environment that encourages teamwork.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with the Tennessee State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years med-surg experience.
- Wound Care Experience preferred.

In our 4,577-square-foot Advanced Wound Care and Vascular Center, we treat complex and minor wounds with greater resources and accessibility. Our clinic prioritizes limb loss prevention, healing for diabetic ulcers and hard-to-heal wounds.
