Wound Care Nurse - RN Registered Nurse

About the role

The Wound Care Nurse provides primary skin care to residents under the medical direction of the attending physician and/or Director of Nursing, with an emphasis on treatment and therapy of skin disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary skin care to residents.
• Treat and therapy skin disorders.
• Assist in modifying treatment regimens to meet physical and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Ensure care follows established medical practices, state regulations, and facility requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or higher).
• Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
• Current CPR‑BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an RN; health‑care industry experience preferred.
