About the role

The Wound Care Nurse at Oakpointe Senior Care & Rehab Center plays a crucial role in providing primary skin care to residents, focusing on the treatment and therapy of skin disorders under the guidance of physicians and the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary skin care to residents under the medical direction of the attending physician and Director of Nursing.
• Assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of residents, adhering to established medical practices and facility requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• At least 2 years of experience as an RN.
• Current RN State of Michigan License.
• CPR certification.
