About the role
The Wound Care Nurse at Oakpointe Senior Care & Rehab Center plays a crucial role in providing primary skin care to residents, focusing on the treatment and therapy of skin disorders under the guidance of physicians and the Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary skin care to residents under the medical direction of the attending physician and Director of Nursing.
- Assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of residents, adhering to established medical practices and facility requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
- At least 2 years of experience as an RN.
- Current RN State of Michigan License.
- CPR certification.
