Wound Care Nurse - RN- PRN

About the Role

As a Wound Care Registered Nurse at RestorixHealth, you will utilize the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. You will work collaboratively with all other disciplines, prioritize nursing actions, and implement physician orders accurately. Ongoing training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals.
• Valid Registered Nursing license.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Prior experience working with wound care patients (training provided).
• Prior experience with billing and coding preferred.
