Wound Care Nurse LPN

Join our team as a Wound Care Nurse and work in harmony with the nursing staff to assess, treat, and create care plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and/or continence conditions. Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc.).
• Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation, and medical staff in maintaining knowledge and competence in wound care.
• Collect, analyze, and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed LPN in good standing with the state (as required).
• 1-2 years of wound care experience required.
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred.
• 1+ years of long-term care experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Pay

USD $27.50 - USD $34.00 per hour. The wage range for this role takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
