Wound Care Nurse LPN

Full-time day shift position, Monday through Friday.

About the role

The Wound Care Nurse works in harmony with the nursing staff assessing, treating, and creating care plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and/or continence conditions. Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc).
• Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.
• Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed LPN in good standing with the state (as required).
• 1-2 years wound care experience required.
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred.
• 1+ years of long term care experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Pay

Posted salary range: USD $33.00 - USD $37.00 per hour. The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors including skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
