Wound Care Nurse
About the role
AMG Specialty Hospital – Albuquerque is seeking a Full Time Wound Care Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new and existing in/out patient’s wound
- Monitor and treat the wound as per treatment policies and procedures
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting
- Communicate with physicians/CCO/co-workers about changes in patient’s clinical condition
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient’s condition or response to treatment
- Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of New Mexico.
- Acute care experience is preferred.
- Current certification of Wound Care preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
