Responsibilities

• Improving the lives of our residents by ensuring they receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Palos Heights.
• Providing support to the Treatment Doctor and overseeing the wound care team.
• Aiding patients with the delivery of wound care services under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing.
• Maintaining a safe environment and observing changes in condition during the delivery of wound care.
• Maintaining education and ensuring residents are comfortable and safe.

Requirements

• An unencumbered State of Illinois Registered Nurse (RN).
• C.P.R. certification, and Wound Care certification preferred, but a minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in wound care treatment is acceptable.
